The Pépite Prize:
the competition for student entrepreneurs

The Pépite Prize highlights winners supported by the 33 Pépite hubs. This award promotes the creation of innovative activities through initial financial assistance.

Discover the prize’s challenges and admission requirements, as well as last year’s winning projects—enough to inspire you!

The challenges
of the Pépite Prize

As part of the Pépite Prize, each Pépite organizes a dedicated jury once a year to select 4 regional winners and among them, choose 2 national winners.

BPI France awards 4 regional winners in each of the 33 Pépites with €2,000 per candidate. At the request of the Pépite to BPI Fance, this grant can be distributed as scholarships to the winners or be used to purchase services on behalf of the winner.

During the 10th edition of the Pépite Prize (2023), these two national winners are divided into two categories:

  • a grand Pépite France prize

  • a special jury prize dedicated to ecological transition

The national winner (or their runner-up, if applicable) in each category receives a ministerial award of €5,000.

Conditions to apply for the Pépite Prize

    • Be a student or a recent graduate within the last 3 years

    • Currently hold or have held the National Student-Entrepreneur Status (SNEE)

    • Have a project to create an innovative business in France

    • Meet other specific criteria related to the company’s creation date, etc.

This project can involve technological or non-technological innovation (service, organizational, or usage innovation), as well as activity projects that stand out for the creativity of their offer.
