University of Pau and the Adour Region (UPPA)

Located between the ocean and the mountains, UPPA welcomes 14,000 students on its human-scale campuses in Pau, Bayonne, Anglet, Mont-de-Marsan, and Tarbes. It has been awarded the national I-SITE (Science-Innovation-Territories-Economy Initiative) label for excellence and leads the “Sud-Aquitaine Innovation” University Innovation Hub (PUI).

The PUI now encompasses UPPA’s long-standing system for raising awareness, informing, training, and supporting entrepreneurship. In Anglet, UPPA offers a dedicated space for business creation—the Hub, located within the Arkinova innovation hub. In Pau, the Étincelles startup studio brings together the student incubator l’EntrePau and the Chrysa-Link deeptech incubator in the new Marie-Curie building on the Hélioparc technology campus. Both student entrepreneurs and more experienced individuals are supported there in the development of innovative projects.
